Dr. Karan J Singh
Dr. Singh is a dedicated physician that is committed to providing his patients with the latest technology and techniques that are available to ensure they receive the best possible care that they deserve. Dr. Singh attends many medical conferences and meetings each year so that he can remain fully educated on all of the newest and techniques that are available that will enable him to help his patients.
Dr. Singh is a skilled physician, having graduated Magna Cum Laude in his class at the University of California in Riverside. Upon graduating from university, he then attended the UCLA School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Medicine degree, and became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Upon completion of these courses, Dr. Singh went to the University of California in San Diego, where he completed his general surgery and urology training. While at the University of California in San Diego, Dr. Singh was involved in many publications in medical specialty journals, some of which included the Journal of Urology. Dr. Singh specializes in many urological fields including female incontinence surgery, pediatric urology, stone disease, cancer surgery and the popular new no-needle vasectomy procedure.
Currently, Dr. Singh is the chief of Urology at Mission Hospital as well as a diplomat of the American Board of Urology which focuses on both adult and pediatric urology. He is also a member of the Surgical Executive committee at Mission Hospital as well as the Mission Ambulatory Surgery Center. Other organizations that Dr. Singh is involved with are the Cancer Committee at Mission Hospital, the American Urological Associated, the Orange County Medical Associated and the Orange County Urological Society, the California Medical Association and the AACU.
Currently, Dr. Singh lives with his wife and two sons in Laguna Niguel, CA. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, skiing and traveling with his family.
